The State Archive is a special administrative state body, established to develop the archival documentary heritage of the area under its care. We acquire the records and store and preserve them, ensuring their safety, security and accessibility. We also acquire non-archival material and issue authenticated duplicates, extracts, certificates and copies of documents from the collection. In addition, we publish archival source material and aids and carry out research into archive administration and good practice.
